We will start with cooking Potatoes in Microwave. I have taken a 750 ml microwave safe bowl with a lid. Pierce Potatoes with a fork. Dip it in a bowl of water and put it in the Microwave safe bowl. Cover and cook the Potatoes in the Microwave
Place at the center of glass tray
a) Mode: Micro b) Power: High (900W) c) Timer: 6 mins d) Press Start. Cook Covered
Remove after 6 mins and allow the Potatoes to cool down completely
Peel off the skin and mash Potatoes. Ensure there are no lumps. You can also use Potato masher
Add frozen Green Peas and mix well. You can add fresh green peas but before adding it you will have to cook it for 3-4 mins
Add chopped Green Chiles, chopped Ginger, chopped Coriander leaves. Add Red Chili Powder, Garam Masala Powder, Chaat Masala Powder, roasted Cumin Powder, Dry Mango Powder, Salt to taste. Add 1 tsp Cooking Oil and mix well
Take a small portion of dough and shape it into a ball. Now shape the balls into flat Tikkis. Smoothen the Tikkis by rolling it in a plate. Similarly, make all the Tikkis
The first batch of Tikkis is now ready. We have 6 Tikkis ready. With the remaining mixture, we can make 5-6 Tikkis. Total we can make 10-12 Tikkis
For grilling Tikkis, we will take High rack and a Grill Tawa. Both these accessories can only be used in Grill on Convection mode. Do not use it in Micro mode. Grease Tawa with some Oil
Put Tikkis on Tawa. Put some Cooking Oil on each Tikkis. Let's Grill the Tikkis now
Place the High rack in the Oven. Place the Tawa on top of this rack
a) Mode: Grill b) Timer: 10 mins c) Press Start
Remove after 10 mins. Tikkis have become evenly brown. We will grill Tikkis from other side. Let's grill the Tikkis from other side for 4 mins
