Ingredients
  • 350 gm wheat flour
  • 8-10 spinach leaves
  • 3 green chillies
  • 2 carrots cut into small cubes
  • 2 tspoon carom seeds
  • 2-3 tbspoon Oil
  • 1-2 tspoon salt
Instructions
  1. Heat 2-3 tbspoon oil and add it to wheat flour when it becomes lukewarm. Now add 2 tspoon carom seeds and 1 tspoon salt and mix them well.
  2. Now divide wheat flour into 3 equal portions.
  3. Blanch the spinach leaves by adding hot water over them. keep them soaked into the hot water for 2-3 min.
  4. Remove them from water and let them cool off completely. Grind the spinach with green chilies to a smooth paste without adding extra water.
  5. Make a puree of carrots with little salt. Add little water if needed to make a smooth paste.
  6. Knead one portion of flour with spinach puree to get green colored dough, one portion with carrot puree for orange colored dough and lastly one portion of flour with water. Make sure to knead them into a soft dough.
  7. Take a small ball of each of the colored dough and roll them into a cylindrical shape. Now join these shapes together using some oil.
  8. Cut the merged dough into two halves. Roll them flat into desired shape (square/round/rectangle).
  9. Roast rotis on tawa.
  10. Serve then hot with any gravy.
