Ingredients
  • 500 grams curd
  • 125 grams Bhindi (Okra) cut into slices
  • 3 green chilies finely chopped (less spicy variant)
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  • pinch of asafoetida powder
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp roasted fennel seeds powder
  • salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
Instructions
  1. Heat Oil in a pan.We will fry bhindi in batches.We must fry bhindi until it turns crisp.
  2. Bhindi turns crisp in couple of minutes.We will remove it from oil with a slotted spoon.Similarly fry remaining batches
  3. Whisk curd.Add fennel powder,red chili powder, asafoetida powder,salt to taste, chopped chilies and chopped coriander leaves.Mix
  4. Add fried bhindi.Mix
  5. Refrigerate till serving
  6. Bhindi Raita can be served with Biryani and Pulao
